About DR KIMCHI DO
Dr Dr Kimchi (Kim) Do is a dedicated endocrinologist committed to providing high-quality care to her patients. Patients value her warm, empathetic approach and clear communication.
Dr Do graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction in 2019. Following her basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital, Dr Do completed her specialist training at Westmead, Liverpool, and Nepean Hospitals. She also completed a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) with Distinction in 2022.
Dr Do is experienced in managing diabetes mellitus (including type 1, type 2, and gestational) and metabolic health. She provides comprehensive care in general endocrinology, including the management of thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, and osteoporosis. Her special interests include diabetes technologies, such as insulin pump therapy, and thyroid disorders.
Dr Do has published her research in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented her work at national conferences. As a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia and the Australian Diabetes Society, she has a strong commitment to professional standards in health care. She is a Clinical Associate Lecturer at Sydney Medical School, the University of Sydney.
Outside of medicine, Kim enjoys photography, bushwalks, and reading.
